Project Engineer (Trade Industry)

We are looking for a Project Engineer to support project delivery and operational activities in the trade/energy & resources environment. The role focuses on coordinating technical requirements, ensuring compliance, and delivering quality service to meet client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to operations teams
• This role involves regular travel to client sites within the Sydney region on certain days of the week.
• Prepare and review supplier and subcontractor proposals
• Assist with procurement recommendations and project schedules
• Develop and review engineering plans and designs
• Support project planning, scope, and implementation activities
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams
• Promote strong HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment & Quality) practices

Qualifications & Experience (desirable):

• Degree in Engineering or related discipline
• Relevant experience in engineering planning/design or field work
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Windows and business applications)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
